A fun read

Always enjoy reading, or listening to, Baldacci. I really like the main characters and how they manage their impossible situations. A great distraction from reality.

Awesome, as usual!

I have listened to this book many times and love it now, as much as I did the first time. Each book in the Wil Robbie Series is as great as predesessor, as are the Amos Decker Series, John Puller Series — that’s as far as I have gotten (still going)!!!!!

Glad I did

I read this book out of order. I am glad I decided to listen to it. It was great. I am a fan of this writer. His characters are excellent and we'll formed.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Blue Man While this may seem a little strange that such a minor character is my favorite I identified with him most of all. He works in a huge bureaucracy of very dangerous people and seems to be the conscience of the agency. He finds a way to do the moral and "Right" thing in the middle of a bunch of incredibly powerful egotists.

What about Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy ’s performance did you like?

I felt as if the characters were dynamically separate with definite unique nuance to each voice.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

You never know when you are in the crosshairs.

Good listen but

Would you consider the audio edition of The Hit to be better than the print version?

This is a good story and I love David Baldacci. The narration is good. However, I could definitely do without all the sound effects. This is the 3rd Baldacci book with the sound effects and I don't know if I will buy another audio because they are so irritating and add nothing to the story. Especially at a pivotal moment when I am driving in the car, suddenly gunshots fire, motors race, brakes squeal . . . .The volume of the sound effects is so loud you are constantly adjusting your volume control. I think I will stick to the print copies of Baldacci from now on..

Solid

Good characters and a complex story entertainingly written. The male/ female split narrator was new to me and felt a bit off at first but once I acclimatised it added to the experience. Faultless narration.

On the edge of my seat!!

I loved this book! I could not turn the pages fast enough. It was well written and I just became lost in the characters. Awesome!!

Great book and the performance of Ron McLarty and Orlagh Cassidy the story keep me going back for more. I like the characters Mr Baldacci has created in not just this book but also the books with Agent Puller.
