Wonderful!
The main characters and their development gets more interesting with each book. The plot is intricate, yet still plausible.
If you like a mystery that is suspenseful enough to hold your attention, but not morbid or vulgar, you will enjoy this series.
The narrator is perfect!

Trying to remember why I liked this series.
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Yes. I enjoyed the first 2 books, but not this one as much.

I just love this series.
Charles Lenox is a person I feel I know and like very much, as is his valet Graham and his love, Lady Jane. The plot is clever and the reader is so British. Looking forward to downloading the next one.

Fun in spite of it all
If you don’t mind Americanisms, anachronisms, and using a derrick to hoist your disbelief, it’s light fun. Too bad the narrator has a droopy voice.

This story was rather boring. I have read the other two books in the series that come before this one, and this one is the weakest link so far. However the narration was wonderful as always.
