The Escape

Another great read

truly enjoyed another great book by David. The performance was wonderful and believable. I look for you reading more of his books

Excellent

His books just keep getting better It was never boring and the narrator did a wonderful job. I hope we get another story with the 2 brothers. It's said about the dad but also brings a little fun to the story.
If you enjoy Baldacci writing you won't be disappointed.

an excellent story, that has it all, you'll find yourself not wanting to sleep, this is one book you'll find time to listen to.

Army Warrant Officers

There is no such rank as CWO. He is a WO1 or CW2 if he has been promoted once as a warrant officer. CW2- CW5 are sometimes referred to as Chief. 3 stars for the remainder of his research for a 311A. CID Special Agents are federal officers. The title of Special Agent assists when Military Officers confuse the rank with the authority.

What did you love best about The Escape?

This is the third book in this series. Please listen to all three. I pretty much like anything by David Baldacci and the John Puller series is no different.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

No, but it was very enjoyable. There were some twists that I did not see coming.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

My husband & I listened to this on a long road trip and it made the miles fly by.

A lot of minutiae

Certainly glad I listened to this on Audible, rather than having to plow through the copious amount of detail. Seemed a bit much at times. Yawn! I, also, felt the female characters were often a bit too flippant for the suspenseful nature of the material.

It got my attention and kept it

The story had many twists and turns from every side several unexpected have me listening the entire time. Well done

Entertaining Story

I enjoyed the book for the most part -- but there were parts that were a bit of a let down. The performances were good but female conversational dialogue felt wrong during various parts of the story (intonation and expression seemed out of synch with the current situation). I'm still a big Baldacci fan.

I PURCHASED THIS , BECAUSE I RECEIVED A USED BOOK

The used book I received stopped at Chapter 65. Page 552 . I sent an additional 12.95 to hear the end of the story. It was very fitting , because it spirited my paranoid mind. Because we are in a lockdowned. Society right now because of covid-19 . And that makes me think this virus could be caused by airborne ways.

Every small plane that flies by I believe they might be spraying us .
