Publisher's summary

A sailing adventure! This richly textured mystery begins in the dark jungles of the Congo basin, develops a sinister edge in the Seychelle Islands in the Indian Ocean, drips with Southern charm in old Charleston, is buffeted by seduction and betrayal during a hurricane on the Atlantic, and explodes in a violent climax in the Azores. It will leave the listener stunned at the perfidy of man - and wanting more.

boring as hell!

I made it to chapter 31 and still actually have no idea what the story is about. it gets stuck in usless detail like quicksand and you have to wait for the story to continue. the narration was one of the worse I've ever heard. He took a boring story and actually made it worse. The characters are cliché and forgettable. I can't even think of one now that stands out. Don't waste your time.
