Jeremy Robinson's third book in the Jack Sigler series is a rocket-powered thriller, combining high adrenaline action, smart science, ancient legends, and stunning locations.
Robinson has written another fast paced adventure in which super soldiers have to face supernatural forces in order to save the world. After a massacre with a lone survivor King is faced with personal tragedy in which he has no time for because the world has gone to hell. The team is sent out on a mission without King, but he can’t be out done because he has to save Fort Bragg all by himself. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a read/listen in which you can turn the brain off and just relax and have some fun.

Another wonderful installment of the Chess Team series. Building on the past and setting up future events leaving you satisfied but impatient for more. Again Robinson and Kafer work great together with Robinson writing and Kafer's excellent delivery of the characters. Plus a funny way to show Mr. Kafer he cares is inserted by Mr. Robinson. Pay attention to character names.
Great book in the series. sadly foul language was being used in this audio book. Thankfully it wasn't a whole lot. This book was a lot more grisly in its detail as well.

It's awesome! well worth the read or in this case the listen! I have become a fan boy of jeremy robinson and his books! To be honest it been hard to find a series that can hold my attention and cause me to remember each character and its history. Jeremy has done it and he blends characters from his other series together in new books seamlessly!

Great book
I have become addicted to the Chess Team and their adventures. This was a great installment in the series. The story was fast paced and it was interesting to see some familiar faces in this one. This story was huge and encompassed quite a bit of territory. As usual, the characters were amazing.
One of my favorite new characters in this novel was Jeffrey Kafer! So cool to hear that the author had actually written in the main who performs all the audio book's in to play a character of the novel. The rest of it very intriguing. I look forward to my next Jack Siglar novel!
As usual I'm thoroughly impressed I hope that they make movies out of this someday. So much better than the crap that turned into movies lately like 50 shades of grey and all the teen dystopian bullshit. Great job Mr Robinson
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
In this very exciting third instalment of the Chess Team, Jack has just been officially named as foster father to young Fiona, the girl he found at the Siletz Reservation in the previous book. When she is kidnapped, Jack is hard on her trail, and the rest of Chess Team is split up to find (and kidnap) the remaining speakers of very old, almost forgotten languages, as they seem to be the target of some evil mastermind. Lots of old faces show up (some good, some not-so-good), and there's also a lot of surprises along the way. Once again, the novel is action-packed, funny, sad, filled with crazy characters and weird monsters, and an absolute delight to read. Can't wait to start on the novellas before the next book comes out soon! (Read 9 June 2012)

Listened to on Audible (14 May 2014). Even better the second time around, and it's interesting to note clues littered throughout the book, that I only notice now that I know where the series has gone. Jeffrey Kafer is an amazing narrator and brings all the characters to life in a fantastic way!
