Stowed Away

Very moving & forgiving in the end. Lots of intrigue, murder, robery, & mystery! Also secrets & family, also love!

Once again unto the Clambake

Barbara Ross is an unusual cozy writer -- Sometimes what she has to say is serious. In addition to that anomaly, she even commits literature now and then. She can write English, and with style. Her name on the cover is a guarantee that I will never have cause to wince over her grammar (although I MAY about the narrator's erratic pronunciation.) I have grown increasingly fond of Julia and Chris, her family and friends. The characters are written with sympathy and believability.

meh

The narrator makes this story difficult to get through. The story is ok but it's not remarkable.

Great series ‼️

Once again a new idea 💡 different from so many cozy mysteries… really enjoyed all characters and interesting plot … looking forward to what happens next with the family & neighbors on the Island and in community… and where the next mystery takes us‼️

Connects Me with Maine.

I love listening to the stories they give me a connection to the north east that reminds me of my childhood.

Hooked on the series!

Set in a barely disguised Boothbay Harbor, Maine, one of my favorite places, with with a “real” heroine, and believable scenarios. The author takes me right there.
My only complaint is a common one: the narrator needs to learn how to pronounce local towns!
