Publisher's Summary

Callie Anson is curate at All Saints Church in Paddington and does her best to help those in her congregation with their various needs and worries. Morag Hamilton, for example, is worried about her lonely, isolated, 12-year-old granddaughter, Alex.

Meanwhile, Detective Inspector Neville Stuart is caught up in the case of Trevor Norton, who left his pregnant wife to go for a jog - and never returned. Trevor's disappearance may not be what it seems, but just when Neville thinks he's solved it, someone else goes missing - young Alex Hamilton.

Could Not Make It Through

This is the most frustrating book on tape I have ever tried to listen to. Even though the narrator was very good, there was not a single character with whom I had any sympathy (even though there are way too many characters) and the story line was so slow to develop. After three tries I finally gave up.
