Publisher's summary

In the wake of Operation Desert Storm, a defecting Iraqi scientist has revealed Saddam Hussein's horrifying plans for a devastating counter strike against his enemies...and the world.

With no time to spare, American forces must remobilize to locate and neutralize the underground laboratory where a lethal super-virus is ready to be unleashed. But an eleventh-hour disaster thrusts the entire mission into the hands of two Air Force comrades, Colonel Will Westerman and Reserve Colonel-turned-commercial pilot Doug Harris. Flying into the heart of Iraqi power, they must depend on both their skills and each other as never before in order to complete a mission that may be a suicide run.

WOULD MAKE A GREAT MOVIE!

Loved it. Had me on the edge of my seat often. Close calls, battles, escapes, detailed fights scenes, and in such detail. Narrator painted a good picture. Accents and pronunciation well done. Cant wait for the next Nance book!

Thank you

It is refreshing to listen to a book like this knowing that these types of circumstances can promote horrible language from characters, and yet the author was able to create the seriousness of the scenes without it. Thank you to a great author who made this book appropriate for teens without taking out the gravity of what war looks like.

Exciting story

Lots of twists and turns to this story. Narrator could change his tone more, but overall a good listen.

Excellent Work

I found myself standing and cheering at the end. The work shows what our pilots go through to accomplish the mission. I hate that the scientist died at the end. Will the last canister be found and recognized? Thank you, thank you, thank you. I was fully engaged.
