Publisher's summary

When a high-society party is crashed by a naked, knife-wielding, blood-covered man who "thinks" he might have killed someone, Eve Dallas must track down the crime, and the criminals. Everything points to Satanic ritual, but Eve doesn't believe in devil worship.

Just okay

I am a fan of the series. However, the shorts are not the ones I like the best......

Best Series Rver

Would you consider the audio edition of Ritual In Death to be better than the print version?

I don't have any of the printed versions. My eye sight isn't the best anymore

Who was your favorite character and why?

They all are great. But if I have to pick one, it would be Peabody. She smart, has humor that balances out Eve.

Which character – as performed by Susan Ericksen – was your favorite?

I can't pick one. They are all great!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I always laugh in her books somewhere. In some I cry.

Any additional comments?

Keep up the great work!!!!

loved it

The main character is a the kind of person I would want in my corner if I was dead. the reader of the story brings the characters to life. this is one of the shorter story's in the series but a good one.

A story with the speed of a bullet.

A ritual satanic killing has Eve Dallas and Roarke dealing with the dark and the light of spirit beliefs. As in all the 'In Death' series this is one tight, fast-paced police procedural based in a future New York Police and Security Department. Susan Ericksen narrates brilliantly all the characters voices.

Great novella!

I’m currently on my In Death ride for the first time and so far this has been the best novella of the series! Very good one

Murder breaks up formal gala

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. It is short, just takes a couple of hours, but has a lot of action within that time. It's a good mystery story, too.

What did you like best about this story?

Eve and Roarke are both invested in the outcome of the mystery but on almost opposing sides on how to get results. They argue and get angry with each other but are respectful.

Which character – as performed by Susan Ericksen – was your favorite?

I always like Roarke's Irish brough the best but I though Detective Peabody was good, kind of comic relief.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It had it's intense moments.

Any additional comments?

No.

Great story

Kinda short and to the point. Could have been a full novel but, Nice to see Eve open a little outside her scope.

Satan be Dammed

Spring 2060, Eve discovers a satanic cult has performed a ritual in one of Roake's properties. Fast moving story as Eve and colleagues solve the brutal crime in room 606. Great read by Susan Erickson. J.D. Robb wrote an excellent storyline. ⚘⚘
