Editorial Reviews

Reward for the Baron, the 11th book in Grand Master of Mystery John Creasey's Baron series, is a classic crime drama set in the stately old Royal Hotel, where the titular Baron, aka John Mannering, happens to be staying when every single room is broken into, and a huge sum of priceless jewelry stolen.

Creasey is a master of the good old-fashioned British mystery, and voice actor Philip Bird performs this captivating work with verve, bringing a touch of old school charm to this thrilling audiobook. Bird's acuity with voices is especially notable, and his lively pacing will keep listeners hooked as they ask themselves that most thrilling of age old questions: whodunit?
