Not what I expected, and that's a good thing...

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I expected a good murder mystery, but ended up with an dark and creepy psychological thriller and love story. None of the characters was exactly who I thought they were going in. I can't say enjoyed getting to know Carbone's characters, because some of them were really horrible people, but I wanted to know their stories, to be able to put the pieces together.

What does P. Gardner Goldsmith bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

P. Gardner Goldsmith gives Restitution the feel of an old radio play. He isn't just reading the story, he's letting us eavesdrop on the characters as their lives unravel.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Can't say without spoilers :)
