Publisher's summary

A year after her husband Zach's death, Lizzie goes to lay flowers where his fatal accident took place. As she makes her way along the road, she thinks about their life together. She wonders whether she has changed since Zach died. She wonders if she will ever feel whole again. At last she reaches the spot. And there, tied to a tree, is a bunch of lilies. The flowers are addressed to her husband. Someone has been there before her.

Lizzie loved Zach. She really did. But she's starting to realize she didn't really know him. Or what he was capable of.

DON'T read this review !!

This was a first for me! On the day I purchased this book, the sample audio wouldn't play, and there were no written reviews, so I decided to purchase it without ANY info. I didn't even read the publisher's summary. I think the title came up when I did a search for a mystery or psychological thriller, and what an excellent surprise it turned out to be. The story is outstanding, and the narration is brilliant.
If you like a good psycho thriller... you will likely be as wowed as I was. I highly recommend this novel, but then again, I told you not to read this review

Good not great

The main character is very frustrating and naive, the story becoming a tiring track of PTSD.

This is for you IF...

-If you like hanging out in the mind of narcissists chapter after chapter,

-If you don’t mind the F word pummeling you with greater intensity and frequency as a book goes along,

- If you like weak-minded female protagonists who don’t learn from their mistakes and still see the world the same way in the end,

- If you like stories that take their sweet time moving the action forward,

-AND if you like female readers who imitate male voices and they all sound the same age (old),

Then this book is for you. Congratulations. You’re gonna love it!

The writer IS good at creative ways to describe things. I was impressed by some of her clever phrasings. That’s hard to do.

I just couldn’t take it anymore. Sorry, Ms. Durrant. A blogger had it on her top ten thrillers list, but it was NOT for me.

Redeeming quality for someone out their: Author works in almost a “public service announcement” style, a bit about how to know if you are in an abusive relationship. Some woman will benefit from that part.

Go in not knowing anything you'll appreciate it.

The best book I listened to in a long time. I'm so glad I didn't read any comments from anyone.

I devoured this complexellent winner!

My second listen. Well worth it!
“Remember Me This Way” is one of the best audiobooks I have in my vast Audible library. Most suspenseful is the back and forth dialogue between the Lizzie, Zach and Charlotte. No matter how I tried, I couldn’t figure out the end. An amazing thriller. Vocal narratives by both Penelope Rawlins and Daniel Weyman were precise. I will be looking for more by this talented duo. A welcome audiction. I cannot say enough about this thriller. {{{Jaw, meet the floor.}}}. I’m screaming from my rooftop, “Epic, I say! EPIC! EPIC! EPIC!” Highly recommended? Need you even ask?

Waste of My Time

I looked forward to this book for so long and found myself bored. It was not worth the credit or my time.

Save Your Money..!!

Save your money or credit..
If they had condensed it down into an hour long novella it STILL would have been tedious going...
Too long ..waiting for something to happen was a mistake,.. and a waste of my time.

Mixed feelings

I really enjoyed this book. I listened to It in just over a day. The story was good and kept me guessing. Then, there was a little “side story” that came to light that I didn’t like, just grossed me out. Then, the ending fell flat. I thought the story was pretty good but the ending was lackluster.

Not very good characters not very relatable

It wasn't bad- I just never connected with any of the characters- the woman was too ridiculous and a bit standoffish so I never grew to care what happened to her- the only thing I cared about was the dog

Just Okay

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Probably not. It took me weeks to get through, simply because I wasn't excited to get back into listening. It wasn't awful but I have other books I like much better.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

The ending was definitely the best part. It had some greats twists I didn't see coming, and there was a definitive ending which I liked. The whole set up for the ending was just dragged out and repetitive for me.

What about Penelope Rawlins and Daniel Weyman ’s performance did you like?

I think they did an amazing job. I could always tell who was speaking by the subtle changes in their voices.

Could you see Remember Me This Way being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

I can see maybe a movie. They'd have to add a little more action, but it could be interesting enough.
