Publisher's Summary

Audiobooks 1 and 2 in the American Prepper Series

Society will collapse in days... and that's the good news.

Former Special Ops and survivalist Simon Redfall has lost everything: his wife, his fortune, and his future. Despite being hunted by angry mobs and his own bankrupt government, Simon attends the first ever, pay-per-view execution in Washington, DC.

When red storm clouds appear and begin to spread their potentially toxic rain across the planet, the mysterious weather phenomenon grounds all travelers and threatens to take down the grid, sending civilization back to the Stone Age.

As society tumbles into chaos, Simon joins a group of like-minded preppers to unlock the secrets behind a terrifying global conspiracy. What he and his band of freedom fighters soon learn will put their lives at risk, and the lives of everyone else on the planet.

For humanity, time is running out. When the red rain stops falling, it will be too late to stop what's coming next.

Rated R for violence, language, sexual situations, and bloodshed.

Not what I was expecting

I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it wasn't quite this. The narration was very good and the characters did what I really like and that's to stay true to their character, whether you like them or not. I guess I just wasn't expecting the story to be quite so unrealistic. One man controls the internet , one man controls everything made for the department of defense, the government controls TV and phones, etc. I like my post apocalyptic stories to be rooted in a little bit more realistic terms. It was entertaining though and well paced. I'll probably get the next in the series because of those reasons as well.

Foul, perverted, & deranged

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Cut out the sex and at least some of the foul language.

Any additional comments?

Good mystery, but I'll probably never know how it ends because I can't stand to listen to two more books of this smut.

Little Prepper instruction

I was hoping for some Prepper instruction. None here this is a book of fiction.

Great job by Gary Tiedermann

This story is interesting and spell binding at times. Some of plots are a bit far-fetched, but they make for a more enjoyable listen.

To slow

Took to much time trying to describe things and not enough on storyline. I won’t be reading anymore of Redfall.

passes time but not tecommended.

The narrator did a great job. My biggest gripe is that the author goes into detail about things that he obviously doesn't know squat about. specifically firearms. Calling an aa12 a Russian shotgun? .22 rimfire shoved bullet first into a .44spl hp to make an exploding bullet?
