Cop-turned-lawyer Stone Barrington tracks a mobster hiding deep within the witness protection program in this new thriller in the New York Times best-selling series - with a little help from beautiful Florida police chief Holly Barker.
This is the old Stone and Holly that we know. This story has twists and turns to make it interesting and a good listen. The story includes (in addition to Stone and Holly), Ham Barker, Lance Cabot, Dino, Herbie, Joan, Ed Eagle and Elaine
with references to some old favorites like Bob Cantor. At times it looks like Stone and Holly are doomed.

Would you listen to Reckless Abandon again? Why?
This book ended with many unanswered questions. Can't wait to find out what happens next.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Edge of seat, kind of. It kept me on the laughter seat all the time.
What about Tony Roberts’s performance did you like?
Great as usual.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Laughter is always moving/
Any additional comments?
Be prepared to buy more Stuart Woods books. They are definitely entertaining.

Interesting, a little long, but definitely enjoyable for a Stone fan. Guess it builds on the relationships with Holly, Carpenter and Lance for later books.
Taken out of the series, its one of Woods poorer plots.

I wanted something interesting to listen in my car on a trip; lighter prose works best. This story fit the bill; however nothing here to stretch your imagination or intellect!
Narrator is good and easy to listen to.
