Two thumbs up!
Great book, spectacularly well written. Love the main character's personality, honesty and commitment. David Rosenfelt doesn't beat on the main character, like so too other authors do so tirelessly. I've listened to the whole series and can't wait until the next one!

Wonderful book
I love this series, and the narrator I would rather listen to these books the read them because of the narrator. I have also read them tho and still love them. I laugh and worry totally get involved with the book.

This is a great series!
Would you consider the audio edition of Play Dead to be better than the print version?
I haven't read the print version, I really enjoy listening to Grover Gardner, he has a perfect voice for this book.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I find myself laughing out loud at parts and other parts I'm wanting to listen non-stop.
What about Grover Gardner’s performance did you like?
He has a great voice and I really like the way he changes it for the different characters as they speak.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
This is the 6th one in the series and by far my favorite. Hard to actually pick a favorite though because they are all really, REALLY GOOD!
Any additional comments?
I highly recommend this series. It starts with Open and Shut, once you hear that one you will be hooked. However, if you don't feel like listening to the whole series you could still listen to this one without being lost. If you like dogs you will totally enjoy this!

Enjoyable
I really enjoy the Andy Carpenter series. Just the right amount of humor and mystery. I hope the author continues to add to the series.

Yeah, Andy !
For me Grover Gardner is Andy Carpenter. A caring doggy person who tries to do the right thing without looking to be a hero. David Rosenfelt has written another great book. Entertaining and fun.

WONDERFUL
Do yourself a favor and read everything David Rosenfelt has written. I'm a groupie. I enjoy every one of his books. It changed my life as I'm considering adopting a dog. you will not regret listening to this wonderful detective/ legal book.

Brilliant, Funny, a GREAT READ
If you're looking for something to take your mind off stress, Rosenfelt is a fantastic author to turn to. Andy Carpenter is hilarious, and the reader REALLY enhances his character.
If you're new to the Andy Carpenter series, of course it's preferable to start at the beginning. You may end up spoiling plots from earlier novels by starting this late. Still, Play Dead is also easily read as a first-timer, you don't need to know what happened earlier to start at this point in the series.
But I don't recommend it. Once you read one Andy Carpenter book, you'll want to read another. Trust me.

Wonderfully entertaining.
I love all of the Andy Carpenter books and this latest is no exception. Very funny and well read by Grover Gardner.
