Publisher's summary

Nick Buckley was an unusual name for a pretty young woman. But then she had led an unusual life. First, on a treacherous Cornish hillside, the brakes on her car failed. Then, on a coastal path, a falling boulder missed her by inches. Later, an oil painting fell and almost crushed her in bed.

Upon discovering a bullet-hole in Nick’s sun hat, Hercule Poirot decides the girl needs his protection. At the same time, he begins to unravel the mystery of a murder that hasn’t been committed. Yet.

So did not expect that ending

Some times I get who it was that did it, but not this one ... an ending that I didn't expect ... was an interesting book to listen too ... well worth the money.

A Sting in the Tale!

What other book might you compare Peril at End House to and why?

This is Agatha Christie at her very best! A wonderful mind bender that keeps one guessing!

Which scene was your favorite?

Poirot's final summing up, always surprising, this time he outdid himself.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

In book full of twists, turns, liars and cheats, I was more manipulated than moved. Great fun. This is a wonderful story, well read by Hugh Fraser.

Very enjoyable listen, Narrator excellent,

Where does Peril at End House rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

As a recent member I was impressed by the quality and versatility of the Narration. The story was a typical Agatha Christie, and I still couldn't guess "who did it"

What other book might you compare Peril at End House to and why?

I have not listened to many stories yet, other than Sherlock Holmes, and they both have been good so it is difficult to compare them.

Which scene was your favorite?

I was caught into all of the scenes, but I think the a scene in the last chapter caught my imagination the most.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

not really, as Murder Mysteries, don't tend to be that way inclined

Any additional comments?

Just a very good way to occupy ones time when one is busy with hand work, most enjoyable, the work just gets done.!!!!
