Publisher's summary

Glass bead-maker Jax O'Connell and her friend Tessa have no idea what challenges await them when they take a glassblowing class with Marco De Luca, a famous Italian glass artist - and infamous lothario. After the first night of class, Tessa sees a body through the rain-streaked window of the studio. The next morning there's no sign of Marco, and one of the studio owners is also missing. The local sheriff isn't taking the disappearances seriously, but Tessa knows what she saw.

To complicate matters, Officer Shaw and Detective Grant are both vying for Jax's attention as she tracks down clues in a small town that's been keeping more than one secret. Jax and Tessa must face their fears to find the body and uncover the killer before another life is shattered.

A Funny Whodunit

To beading friends enroll in a glass making class only to find themselves unravelling a murder, a hit and run and a disappearance.
I loved this lighthearted tale of amateur sleuthing. It offered enough suspense to keep me interested, all without taking itself too seriously. Great characters, well read by the narrator and provided just enough information on glass and bead making to whet my appetite for discovering more.

Fun series,

I found this series to be very entertaining. Being a glass bead maker I thought it would be a fun listen while working in my shop and it was. I enjoyed trying to put real world faces on the characters and found Mary Ann Jacobs to be an engaging in narrator. Great light listening and Janice clearly understands glass and the glass community. Even if glass and beads are not your thing, this series is a great light read or listen.
