Publisher's Summary

A fun, humorous cozy mystery - with ghosts!

Laurel Bay is conducting a funeral when someone is strangled in the bathroom. Now that there have been two deaths in the funeral home, business is as dead as a doornail. As Laurel sifts through the clues, she is faced with too many suspects, a wisecracking ghost, and a woman journalist who appears to be after more than Basil's files.

Laurel thought that inheriting the funeral home was an opportunity to die for, but it seems to be quite an undertaking. This is a cozy mystery. It is a clean, supernatural mystery.

"Oh why o why does it keep happening?"

Poor Laurel. Between her mother's antics and the murders. How does she keep sane? I love this series. They are so funny. Hopefully Laurel and Bassil will get together in up coming books.

Another murder during a funeral. Poor Laurel. This time it causes her to lose business.
she has to find out who did it so she can get things back in order. Will she find out?
will the police find out? I received this book as a gift.

"A little humour for the day!"
What made the experience of listening to Nothing to Ghost About the most enjoyable?

The gift of laughter. This author has the ability to take the light side of everything. You'll giggle at the most unexpected Times!

What did you like best about this story?

The same as above. The sarcastic wit of this whole series.

What about Tiffany Dougherty’s performance did you like?

Tiffany has a way with the individual characters. Her different voices are well done.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, and I did. Started it after dinner and went straight through.

    Any additional comments?

Love this author! Check out her other books too!

    ""She had this raucous laugh...""

punfest, ghosts, amateur sleuth, women sleuths, Australia, zealots, humor, cozy mystery

Too bad talking to ghosts is not admissible evidence. One of the best cozy mystery series around. The sleuthing is excellent, the characters certainly are, and the humor is awesome.
"She had this raucous laugh like a thousand kookaburras on steroids."
Or the word picture of the unsuspecting woman who tried to serve cupcakes with bacon laden frosting to the vegetarian heroine.
If you need some good laughs with your sleuthing, here is a book for you!
Tiffany Dougherty does a great job and uses an American accent.

    "A book to love"
Would you consider the audio edition of Nothing to Ghost About to be better than the print version?

It was good to have the audio version of this book while we were traveling.

    Any additional comments?

I love this series by Morgana. While murder and mysterymay be serious business, the entire setting is comicle. And WOW so glad I don't have a ditsy mom like Laurel.

    "Story good; narrative needs work."

Great story line but the voices for everyone but Laurel were awful. Keep trying.
