When three strangers, Henry, Susan, and Gil, discover a corpse partially consumed by deadly eels, they have no way of knowing that it will lead to a confrontation with the devil.
What did you love best about Night Warriors?
This is the first in the Night Warriors series, and these books are my absolute favorites from a true master of horror. Graham Masterton manages to take mythology and just run with it in ways that really encourage looking at the world in new, and utterly terrifying, ways. I cannot recommend his books strongly enough. If you want true terror that actually makes you think, leave behind the others and try anything by Graham Masterton!
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot will keep you on the edge of your seat-you will find yourself wanting to know more and more about the Night Warriors and also just how will this whole story end??
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No...but I did. Good thing it was a long drive, or I would've been doing laps around the city!
Any additional comments?
Please do the other books in the Night Warriors series, and the Manitou books, and Walkers, another winner from a true horror master(ton)!

Would you try another book written by Graham Masterton or narrated by Jeff Harding?
Jeff Harding is a good narrator. I've listened to some of his other work and the sample of this book seemed like a winner. It's the writing though. It's just so bad, And the lack of plot. Or any characterisation. And the casual sexism and racism. There is also a lot of name dropping product placement throughout that grates after a while. Some books are written at a time when certain social aspects that wouldn't have seemed out of place at the time seem shocking now. This was only written in the 80s though. I'm guessing by a 12 year old because the writing is really that bad. Characters contradict themselves in the same paragraph. The only consistency is the consistently bad writing. Really disappointed as this writer often gets reasonable reviews. I have no idea why. Certainly not for this book.
Would you ever listen to anything by Graham Masterton again?
Have you listened to any of Jeff Harding’s other performances? How does this one compare?
Yes. Nothing wrong with this performance.
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from The Night Warriors?
The sexism and the racism. And the poor plot. Then again...that would leave you with just a pamphlet.
I've read the book and now listened to it on Audible. It really is a fantastic story that is enhanced by great narration. I really do hope that Audible will release the entire Graham Masterton horror library.
very hard to stop listening. well narrated . read the book a long time ago but enjoyed listening.
