Disappointed

I really had high hopes for this three story purchase. I can’t even believe I actually paid for it! Quite disappointed. I’m a dyed in the wool Patterson fan but this didn’t quite measure up to my expectations.

Who wrote this book?

I have read numerous books by James Patterson and I am a big fan. I don't think he wrote this one. The story is boring. The performance is boring. The book is so slow that I gave up after two hours. Definitely not paradise. I didn't like the main character who is very ill defined. Don't waste your time listening to this one.

one out of three

The first two stores weren't very good. I wasn't particularly impressed by the narrators either. The last story was well written and the narrators did a good job of portraying the characters.

Surprised at 3 short stories from James Patterson

I am a big fan of the good guys prevailing and the bad guys getting their due. No so here.

Patterson could not have written this

I've read all of Patterson and always look forward to his new works. This was awful. I was only able to endure through the first story and a half before I had to stop. The narration was boring and the story lines adolescent. Was this written for a high school audience?

Skip the second book in this series

The first and last books were good. The last one was the best The middle one was terrible. You felt no pathos for for the characters because they were poorly constructed as was the entire story. Ending was rushed and predictable
