Just ok

Story was generally good, interesting but the narration, especially early, was nearly unbearable. Rushed and forced is the best way to describe it, character voices were okay but the narration between dialogue really took away from the story. By about 2/3rds in, narration got better, more relaxed, but it took all my patience to get there.

Great listen

Enjoyed the narration. Loved following the careers of Benny, Mary and Mary’s Italian family. Captivated by what Benny thoughts were as she went through the trial.

Very good story

MISTAKEN IDENTITY book 4 in the Rosato & Associates series introduces Bennie to her identical twin Alice, whom the lawyer just learns about. Alice, charged with killing her cop boyfriend, needs a new lawyer, someone as good as Bennie who isn’t certain of her sister’s innocence.

I’m a sucker for twins and Lisa Scottoline had me hooked from the start. I wanted a long lost twins find each other and bond story, but Scottoline had other ideas. Abrasive, amoral Alice has no interest in being chummy with her sister and on this issue Bennie agrees.

MISTAKEN IDENTITY is a worthy read with above average narration from Kate Burton.

Caught up in the case, identities, family and twists. Had me thinking to the end.
