I wish books were not so divided.

I wish books were not so divided. I used to buy them and read 1 book that was the full book not just a section. I seldom buy book 2 because I would have to buy book 3

Good story with exciting scenes

I liked the story but do not feel I got my money's worth. If the author is going to write a story this short yet charge full price, finish the story in one complete book! It was clear the story was written under some kind of deadline. The ending had none of the adventure and detail found in the rest of the book.
Overall, it was an enjoyable and exciting book while it lasted. Narrator was great.

Importance of preparedness and knowledge

Great story

I enjoyed Buck & Paul.... The story was good.. It does have some of the typical story lines for his type of book. You'll hear language & there is violence but if you read SHTF books then you should be use to it by now.
I did learn something.... the urine in the eyes burning thing..... I'll file that away in my mind & hope I never need the info.
The end was wrapped up rather quickly. I thought it was going to have a huge cliffhanger once the guys got to their destination. Sure the book could be continued now that their mission is complete but the story ending lets you know there could be a sequel.
I would listen to another book by this author & this narrator.

Story gives a realistic look at possible scenarios of how things can go down the wrong road quickly.

I like how it is fast moving and easy to keep track of all characters.

This series has a lot of potential. Time will tell. Unfortunately, the price doesn't reflect the length of the book or in this case "short story".

One of those books that you can not put down once you have started. Excellent reader that made the book to come alive. Recommend to all readers.

Better than I expected

I liked this story line a lot. It is very believable and does not soften what could happen.

Very good book!

This shows what can happen to our country from another SHTF scenario, nuclear strikes across America. Should there be several strike American who don't have a bunker to go to will die a terrible death. This also shows the bad & the jind come out in people in an emergency! Good book, look forward to the next one.
