IF YOU TELL A LIE
Twenty years ago, ex-beauty queen Didi Storm worked the Vegas strip as a celebrity impersonator. Now, in death, she’s finally getting the publicity she always craved. To the police, it looks like suicide, or a stunt gone wrong. Her estranged daughter, Remmi, knows the answer isn’t so simple. Though dressed in Didi’s clothes and wig, the broken body on the sidewalk isn’t Didi...

THERE’S NO DOUBT
Remmi was fifteen when she last saw her mother. En route to meet her crush, Noah Scott, Remmi secretly witnessed Didi handing over one of her newborn twins to a strange man. Then Didi disappeared, as did Remmi’s other half-sibling. Remmi pleaded with the authorities to find them, with no success. Yet she’s always sensed that someone is watching her...

YOU WILL DIE
Noah, now running his own PI firm, resurfaces in Remmi’s life, determined to find out what happened that long-ago night. As they dig deeper, the truth about Remmi’s family begins to emerge—a story of greed and twisted lies that someone will kill again and again to keep hidden...

Tons of Lead-Up; Crammed up ending

I thought the story was pretty good until I realized it was only 45 minutes left and tons of loose ends to tie up. The suspense was good until that point. And the other rushed to close it all up and it was very unsatisfying. So I’ve got to give it a three.

Predictable and probably for teen audiences.

I like a good mystery! This book did not develop its characters well. Plot was corny and predictable. Performance was annoying. A real disappointment!

Not one of her better ones

Typically I don't write reviews but this book was a major disappointment from Lisa Jackson. Maybe I am just changing as a reader but I didn't find these characters interesting at all. I didn't connect with them on any level and I honestly didn't care where this story went or how it ended. I usually love Lisa Jackson books and will always download her latest one but this is the first time I have actually regretted doing so. Hopefully this is more a one time thing than a new pattern to her books. I will try the next one when it comes out with high hopes its an improvement over this one.

Ridiculous from Start to Finish

I rarely feel the need to write a negative review. But this book is just ridiculous from start to finish. The premise is unbelievable and the way it unfolds is laughable. I don't know what got into Lisa Jackson, but an editor should have stopped this book from being published. Spend your money elsewhere.

Boring

Redundant and really drawn out! Don't bother getting this one! Returning it since I wasted 13 hours!

Ugh

I just couldn’t listen to this book any longer. There is way too much non essential information. The cats....really?How do they promote the story line. It is as though the author is trying to prove she can write a descriptive narrative and it doesn’t fit. Way to repetitive. First time I have quit an audible book over half way in. Just couldn’t do it

Giving up

I like Lisa Jackson usually, but I'm not feeling this one. Judging by the synopsis, I was expecting a different story. Instead, the book kicks off with what feels like several chapters of prologue. I get that the backstory is important, but Didi's is not the story I was expecting and anticipating. I think flashbacks would have worked better.

Slow start - Good book

Almost quit - Picked up towards the middle but was not one of her best.

Great book from Lisa Jackson as always

Lisa Jackson never disappoints me. I was a little confused at the beginning, but it all came together to give the readers a fantastic mystery!!!
