Publisher's summary

When a Blanco County hog hunter goes missing after a fight with his girlfriend, it's not a laughing matter - even when one of today's hottest blue-collar comedians is a suspect.

Game warden John Marlin joins forces with the sheriff's department once again to root through the clues and discover the truth.

Meanwhile, two of the county's most notorious poachers - Red O'Brien and Billy Don Craddock - decide to launch an investigation of their own, and the cops are not amused.

Another enjoyable romp through Blanco County

A great book to listen to between more serious tomes. The Blanco County series is kind of a west Texas version of Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. An easy, quick listen that is light but satisfying.

Last Laugh

There are always so many twists and turns for these books in this series and this one is not any different. The characters are great.... sometimes stupid but always funny and the way so many things can all wrap up at the same time always gives me a fun listen.

I did not like the reader

Others have been much better. He was flat and unfunny. No sense of timing I hope the producers change voices. A little more Texan

Like rabid rabbits

Now Red gets his turn at a woman friend with benefits and Billy Don is single and ready to mingle. I love the mysteries, but many of these characters act like frat boys. They seem to think sex is interchangeable with any thing or commodity. Mandy and Tino thoroughly ticked me off. Between all their lies and loose loose to non-existent morales. I'm gaging. Wth?? And the final lie, that biotch admitted to!!! Sadly, the man is thinking without his brain. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job.
