A slow buildup leading to an explosive performance
The story can be a slow burner, describing the managerial and political dramas of what it takes to get a secret aerospace project off the ground at a breakneck pace in light of a war. While this sort of story is too often glanced over in cinema, it only adds to Lash-Up's believability. A little patience is rewarded well; it rises to an exciting and nail-biting crescendo you don't want to miss.

Great book with lots of technical details
I thought this was a great book! I certainly am no expert on the inner workings of the military and all of their contractors, so I can’t speak to the authenticity, but I really enjoyed all of the explanation and detail. This is the first book I listen to with this narrator, and I really enjoyed his performance.

a great one and done
I really enjoyed this, not as much action as I normally go for but the build up was strong and the science seem to line up well. I like the fact that it was complete and didn't leave you at a point where there needed to be a second book..
