Lady Justice and the Assassin. Book 13

Another fantastic book by Robert Thornhill.
Two groups who hate each other join forces to find someone desperate and in fire need of money to kill the President. Once again Walt is in the wrong place at the wrong time.

George Kuch narrates this audible with an excellence only a few narrators can accomplish.

Book 13

Robert Thornhill has a real talent. I have listened to all his books so far this being #13. Can't recommend this series enough. I even have my husband hooked. George Kuch once again does an outstanding job of narrating this book.

Great Fun Series

I found a fun series to listen to when I need a break from horror it is the Lady Justice series. I love the characters of Walt, Ox, Maggie, Judy, Mary and his extended family and friends. The books cover thought provoking subjects (pros and cons) with humor. This book is about potential assassinations, desperation, hatred, bigotry and dogs and the narration is great as always as it is better to listen than read. I hate when they end. I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author. THANK YOU!!

Another fantastic story!

You would think that this book was written now in 2017 (actually written in 2013), because the subject matter is SO relevant to our current state of affairs. Two radical groups from opposite political sides suddenly realize that they have a lot more in common than they think.. they both want the President gone. However, what makes this story pull your emotions all over is when they hire an assassin who you really feel for. Henry, a middle class family man who falls on hard times & is about to lose his home is offered an astronomical amount of money to do the deed. Robert Thornhill does an incredible job of making you feel all the emotions at once. Will Henry go through with it? Will the radical groups prevail?

While that's the main story line, there are actually many sub plots going on as well. We get to see a lot of the gang, and the Walt goes under cover as a TV executive at a dog competition & as a homeless person trying to bust a gang. In usual George Kuch fashion he narrates this all with an ease that draws you in and keeps you hooked. This is another slam dunk in the series!

Still another hit in this series

Who was your favorite character and why?

I love willie he's such an amazing character and then of course, Ox.

Any additional comments?

I had a little trouble with the content of this book due to our real presidents response to the hate groups and recent happenings. Because of this, it took longer to listen to this book. I love how Walt can always expect unexpected help from Willie. Now that's the kind of guy you should count yourself lucky to call friend. I was provided this audiobook at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review via Audiobook Boom.

Great read

Lady Justice and The Assassin is my thirteenth enjoyable read/listen from author Robert Thornhill. Another entertaining clean read, filled with puns & one-liners, as always dealing with current social topics. Each book in the series seems better than the last as Thornhill continues to up his game. Narrator George Kuch again adds greatly to the listening enjoyment with his wide variety of entertaining voices & inflections, Kuch IS Walt Williams! I’ll definitely be reading more from Thornhill! I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. Up next is Lady Justice & the Lottery. Since I own both the Kindle & Audible editions I was able to follow along while being read to. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

Lady Justice and the Assassin

It’s just another day in the life of 69 year old cop, Walt Williams, and boy does he lead an interesting life. Before getting caught up in the attempted assassination of the President, Walt and the gang solve a few more lower profile cases.

I love the action, intrigue, and especially the humor that Robert Thornhill weaves into his stories. This is one of my favorite series.

I’m so glad that George Kuch has continued to narrate the Lady Justice books. I can’t imagine this setting being performed by anyone else.

Another great Lady Justice book

Walt and the gang are back in a book that echoes today's current situation. This is about the president and the views of different sides of perception. Both this author and narrator brings this book to life. I loved it.
