Publisher's summary

What do you get when you mix a vampire hunter, who happens to be an FBI Agent and my boss, add a fallen angel, that's me, and a genius criminal profiler with secrets?

You get the Monster Squad! We hunt monsters and other whatnots. Add to the mix an extra hot alpha wolf, a mysterious town with a serial killer on the loose, and you have total mayhem.

I'm Izzy Cooper, and I'm sporting a pair of black wings. To earn redemption, I had to return to my life as a fallen angel, and work tirelessly to bring down bad guys. It's a good thing I have some help in the form of my guardian demon, who happens to be as hot as he is devious. But that isn't the only guy problem I have to deal with.

I have a new job with the Atypical Crimes Management Unit of the FBI, which happens to be based in my hometown of Storm Cove. Returning to Storm Cove means facing Elias Moreland, who just happens to be my high school crush, and the sexiest guy I've ever met. Too bad he's also a werewolf. Saving my soul, while protecting my heart from an extra hot werewolf isn't easy, when being wicked is a natural element of my nature.

Warning: Izzy Cooper is a nice girl, but she can also be an opinionated bitch from Hell. After all, she is a fallen angel. On occasion, she likes to play with hot guys who have hotter than hell bodies. This story is not for the faint of heart, or those easily offended by sarcasm, dark mystery, and hot romance. You have been warned.

I want her to read to me again!

This was my first audiobook and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The narrator's voice felt very comfortable to me. Her use of character voices kept who was speaking, and when, clear while not distracting from the overall experience. (I still find myself questioning whether the voice of Mr. Grim was actually her or not). I enjoyed the story but felt one or two places where some details were lacking. That could have very well been due to either this being my first time listening to a book, or my anal retentiveness. Could also be I'm easily distracted when ... OH LOOK! A CHICKEN!! ......

Absolutely Terrible Narration

I have no idea if this story is any good because the narration was so bad I couldn't even get through the first 10 minutes of the book. The narrator has bad inflection, no personality, and is barely one step up from monotone. Her timing is terrible. She has no ability to narrate. I have hundreds of books from Audible and this is the second worst narration I have ever heard.
