Publisher's summary

With his child's life hanging in the balance, scientist Weston Anderson races the spread of a deadly flu virus accidentally unleashed on the American public. However, his efforts to contain this vicious killer that he created are thwarted by a major U.S. drug company and government operatives hoping to use it as a tool for biological warfare. But before he can save the world, he must first save his 8-month-old daughter, Reilly.

Exposed to the virus and now in the hands of kidnappers trying to create a cover up, Reilly's life slips further out of Weston's hands with every passing moment. Can Weston save the world and his daughter? Or must he make the ultimate sacrifice?

Storyline "2" - Narration "0"

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Smelser made a huge mistake reading this book herself. I don't mean to be rude, but my 8 year old son reads with more fluidity. It was horrible! I don't mind a weak story, but this was by far the worst narration I have come across and I read a lot.

Would you ever listen to anything by Lynne M. Smelser again?

Most likely not.

What didn’t you like about Lynne M. Smelser’s performance?

Poor characterization, stuttering, repeating entire sentences and just an obvious lack of reading skill.
