Publisher's summary

Irresistible chemistry and thrilling suspense combine in this electrifying new installment in New York Times best-selling author Lynsay Sands' Argeneau series....

One hundred and twenty-five years is a long time to nurse a crush. That's how long it's been since Beth Argenis first met Cullen "Scotty" MacDonald and he instantly became the star of her most X-rated dreams. Back then he was rescuing her from a Rogue Immortal. Now Beth's a Rogue Hunter - a damn good one. She doesn't need saving anymore, despite what Scotty thinks. What she does need is the fierce, wild desire that finally erupts between them.

Scotty has hesitated to claim Beth as his own. But one explosive kiss confirms what he's long suspected: She's his life mate. But Beth is tough, fearless, beautiful...and in immortal danger. Unless he wants to lose her forever, he'll have to rethink everything he once believed about love and destiny as well as confront an enemy who's terrifyingly close.

I really enjoyed this book.

I really enjoyed the storyline of this book. The only issue I had was the narrator's accent for Beth was English and was supposed to be Spanish! Other than that he did a great job. mist times the narrator can make or break a good story. He did a great job

Life mates Scotty and Beth

Beth has had a hard life and when she finds out Scotty is her life mate she doubts it since Scotty has never treated her really well. Someone is threatening Beth's life by causing accidents. While they search for the person responsible, Scotty and Beth become closer. This book has funny, dangerous, loving and sad moments.

Excellent narrator.

The narrator made this book so much more enjoyable. He did an amazing job. He should do all Lyndsay Sands novels.

Overall one of her better books

I like Lynsay Sands, she does good solid writing with a fair amount of evolution of ideas and style since the begining. Now, 26 books into the series she still seems interested in her subject and genuine in her writing.

My favorite so far!

This book is my favorite so far in the series, great story line and the love story between the two main characters was believable and sexy. Loved the narrator for this one, Michael Rahhal was awesome. Loved all of the accents he performed and his inflection while reading was entertaining and convincing. He sucked me right into the story from the beginning and without a doubt, this reading has made him one of my top two favorite narrators that I’ve heard so far while listening to audiobooks.

I enjoyed this book

I enjoyed this book very much I have read a few of ms sands books and have always found them funny steamy and action pack with some mystery. The narrator for this book did a great job with some many accent and emotion into the story which brought it to life. I didn't give 5 stars because the sex and romance which were so sweet and hot seemed a little rushed and almost took too much of a back burner to the mystery , I will still recommend.

#26: Excellent writing –Excellent narrator 5/5

Lynsay Sands—Excellent book –applause

A MUST READ!

You have brought the story back home. The last couple books are based on the drama in South America. (it feels good to be home—LOL)

First, I must applaud your choice with a new narrator—the voices, emotions, and accents are excellent. Michael Rahhal applause to your superb performance.

As for the story synopsis: There is a hesitation on the side of Scotty (read the story to be introduced) to claim his breed mate. The reasons for his hesitation is mixed into a multi-layered Argeneau adventure. (great writing). Beth is a Rogue Hunter that is targeted by an unknown. And what makes it worse is that that unknown finds her even when Beth herself doesn’t know where she will be. (YES, creepy and deadly). All of this personal drama continues intertwined with the hunt for the rogues. (multi-layered, well developed).

Thank you, Lynsay Sands
