Disapointing Effort

Unfortunately this recording is not so much abridged as butchered; the story that remains is disjointed, relationships between the characters become unclear, and the story stops just over half way through (in my printed copy there are 446 pages, the last events mentioned in the recording occur on page 234 - 47% of the original story ignored!)

This was my fisrt abridged recording from Audible, from now on I'll be downloading only unabridged books!

Disapointing

This version is not abreviated but cut short to only include about a third of the book. Not worth spending money on

Hungry as the Sea

This audio book only tells about half of the oriental story as told in the book. Had I know this I would not have bought it

half a book?<br />

This book should be called as hungry as the lake because it wasnt the whole book.
in fact is was about half and even then that portion was heavily edited.

why did they do this?

I feel cheated.

ROBBED!

What happened to the last 300 pages of the book? I've been robbed!
The written book was a far greater story than you have narrated here. I feel as though you have conned me!
