Another great Adventure
I really enjoy the Miss Fortune series and the interesting twists along the way. Ida Bell, Gertie and Fortune work to solve a crime which cuts close to home. Carter is never far behind while the local Mob assists. Mayhew and chaos is never far away when Swamp Team 3 rides to the rescue.

Great story, love the characters!
Love all the Miss Fortune books. This is one of my favorites! Get more story with Big and Little Hebert and Manny in this book.

I have one nitpick with the performance. anyone who has spent time in Louisiana knows that Hebert is pronounced something like a-bear, not he-bert.

Always a fun listen - the Sinful Louisiana stories
These books always give me good chuckles, and every now and then out loud laughs. Ida Belle and Gertie are great characters and foils for Deputy Carter LeBlanc. I know there are many side stories written by others, but I hope Jana DeLeon keeps writing the main series.

everything was wonderful. The narrator fit the story. I think I have listened to all of her light mysteries. they a re all awesome. I listened to this to soften the other book I am listening, very intense murder mystery.

Fortune, Ida Belle, and Gertie. And Carter LeBlanc
Humorous situations ,lots of plot twists, suspense, good police work, vivid and well developed characters, great narration; this series has all this and more. Unfortunately Book 10 is the last novel in the series. Well, actually, Book 11 titled Change of Fortune was published in Kindle and paperback formats one month ago. I hope it is available in audio soon. I love this series! Note: the novels should be listened to in order.
