Publisher's Summary

Action-packed from the start, Hidden Order demonstrates yet again why Brad Thor is the "master of thrillers".

A string of high-profile kidnappings has Washington, D.C., in a frenzy. When the victims begin turning up dead, frenzy turns to panic. And when the ransom demand is finally made public, panic will turn to terror. In Brad Thor's riveting new thriller, the stakes have never been higher, nor the lines between good and evil so hard to discern.

Sadly disappointed on this one

Any additional comments?

The writing (performance) is written well enough given the plot and its twists, however, the basic plot just did not do it for me. It is not what we are accustomed to in a Horvath thriller. Even if you believe the plot, perhaps it would have been easier to finish if we had a new hero to read about instead of Horvath. I just wanted this one to end and I am happy to moving on to the new Ben Coes book. This one is worth skipping. Heck, another Athena team would have been better.

Best one lately

I've petered out on Brad Thor after the Athena affair, tried one more time and found this one better. Though I did have to check a few times to be sure this was not written by Ron Paul.

Brad writes very cognizant and contemporary books. Hidden Order is no exception and may even be a glimpse forward.

Great read and an a great American History lesson

This buy far one of my favorite Scott Harvath books. This is one of the first books that I have acutely did a little of my own Research on. And after listing to it I became a little bite more smarter. If this is your first Brad Thor book, then it's a good one to start with.

Brad Thor relevant again.

I have not been happy with Brad Thor on his last several books so it is nice to see him back on point. Path of the Assassin might be my favorite book of all time so I love the Horvath series but it was just going sideways. This one is back to being a current headline.

Brad Thor is a fantisic story writer. I look forward to Brad's next story. I will also miss Vince Flynn's stories. At time I thought Brad Thor and Vince Flynn could have been brothers.

YEAH!!!!! BT has done it again!!

SH finally has met a good women. Loved this book. History written this way is so much easier to hear and enjoy. BT did it again. The path of SH is so interesting. Heard the interview at RR library makes sense with the book. I hope the series hasn't ended.
