Publisher's summary

Returning to Rome from a forced sabbatical, a newly appointed Jesuit cardinal discovers a dark force that has ruled a single family for over 700 years has been unleashed against the world. With the clock ticking, he joins with a dedicated group of Israeli and Spanish scientists who are thrust into an endgame scenario as they race across the globe in an effort to stop the greatest threat mankind has ever faced, only to discover that they may already be too late.

Once again, the meticulous research that has become the hallmark of author John Lyman's work is evident in this bone-chilling sequel to his best-selling novel God's Lions: The Secret Chapel, as listeners are transported into the cloistered world of archaeologists, code breakers, molecular biologists, and intelligence specialists who have discovered a hidden code within the pages of the Old Testament. Put on a pot of coffee. This must-listen thriller will bring out your creative side when you try to explain to your boss why you are late for work the next morning.

FANTASTIC

As I progress through the series, I love each book more! I'm not a practicing Catholic anymore. But these books, bring back memories of my youth! It's not so much about religion, but humanity! Love, love the mystery and the supernatural aspect to faith in general. Looking forward to the 3rd one.

Problems with audio

I really enjoyed this book but the audio interrupted numerous times and I missed some dialogue and had to guess what happened.

Now,One of my favorite

Plot, research, story, all exciting and very well done. I love good biblical fiction, and this series is proving to be one of the best books I’ve had the pleasure of listening too.

Almost

Good enough listen but don’t know if narrator or not but he doesn’t lend anything really. Voices of men almost same, women(?)
I rarely criticize a narrator but to make this book more than it is, either the narrator or the author needs to step up his game.
Enjoyable nonetheless & easy to follow.
Give it a try you might completely disagree.
And that’s ok
