Publisher's summary

Everybody dies. Nobody leaves....

After narrowly surviving a near-fatal shooting, Portland detective Myron Vale wakes with a bullet still lodged in his brain, a headache to end all headaches, and a terrible side effect that radically transforms his world for the worse: he sees ghosts. Lots of them.

By some estimates, 100 billion people lived and died before anyone alive today was even born. For Myron, they're all still here. That's not even his biggest problem. No matter how hard he tries, he can't tell the living from the dead.

Despite this, Myron manages to piece together something of a life as a private investigator specializing in helping people on both sides of the great divide - until a stunning blonde beauty walks into his office needing help finding her husband. Myron wants no part of the case until he sees the man's picture...and instantly his carefully reconstructed life begins to unravel.

Interesting story

A bit of a hard review for me. The story was interestingand engaging as i didn't space out or have to say "give it one more chapter." There were a few things that i didn't like. There was a bit of language, but not a lot. I'm not sure if this is a spoiler, but even though there wasn't any explicit sexual stuff (thank you) it was over-the-top with how much sleeping around was going on. I won't say more than that.

Soooo Good

I loved it, great pace, the explanation in past and present that explained many important things without over doing it, the flow of the story, just great, the twist at the end... the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because "the wife" was the worst character and too Overly-annoying...the author found every bit of annoying and horrible qualities for that poor character and he still kept trying 🤨 but I am ready to see what book 2 is going bring.

Different Kind of Ghost Story

This was a very interesting story because most stories I have read or watched about on television can tell the difference between real people and ghosts when first seeing them. Myron Vale is a police man who survives a near fatal shooting and has been in a coma for a long time. When Myron wakes with a bullet still lodged in his brain and a headache to end all headaches, he now sees a lot of ghosts and it takes awhile for him to realize that they are ghosts. Myron starts working as a private investigator specializing in helping people on both sides; alive and ghosts. He gets involved working on a case the has something to do with his wife's death.
