"Fluffy" is fluff - but somewhat entertaining

This is not my usual kind of book - I got it on the recommendation of a relative. It was a light diversion that I listened to in the car commuting to and from work, and I actually enjoyed it more than I expected to. The narration / performance was good, considering how many different characters' voices were required. The story itself was, well, fluff, but more entertaining than I expected. I think my mildly negative reaction is mainly because I generally like more weighty, thought-provoking books.

Great story if you can get passed the amateur narration

Liked a continuation of the story from Carolina’s cousin, Melinda’s, point of view. Good use of old and new characters to develop the story. Therefore, use of a different narrator was understandable. However, this narrator’s various voices was amateurish at best. Also her pronunciation of several words (especially “broosh” for “broach” used repeatedly) was irritating. Hope the next books go back to the first narrator. Enjoyed the focus on humane animal treatment and accepting the good and not so enjoyable normal traits and upkeep required by different breeds.
