A Devil of a Story

The narrator is excellant. The story entertaing. I would have given a 5 star rating for story but all the explicit sex was unnecessary, and frankly, I'm sick of it .

I simply love this series. I have purchased up to the seventh book. I enjoy Mrs. King's narrative. I listen every sunday.
Thank you Mrs. Jones for such an enjoyable series. I sure hope to hear more of these types of series from you.

That Charley's relationship with the son of satan has moved to the next level. No more dancing around their attraction.

What does Lorelei King bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

There is not a narrator I love to listen to more than Lorelei. Most of the books in my library were chosen because Lorelei was the narrator. She is the reason I found the Charley Davidson series. She brings personality to the characters

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, I would love to listen to this book in one sitting. Then I would be longing for the next book, which is where I am now. I can't with unitl the "6th Grave" comes out.

I am thourghly enjoying this series, and the reader is superb! I find myself laughing out loud constantly. I adore Reyes, as any warm-blooded woman would. Hot!! I find it a little irritating that the author has to repeat the same thing in each book, such as her car's name or how she first met Reyes, etc. these books need to be read in sequence, so the readers should know this info. But that will not prevent me from listening to the entire series...and then maybe starting at the beginning and listening to again!

More Rip Roaring Fun With the Grim Reaper

I absolutely love this series of books. They're fun, exciting and great mysteries to boot. This audiobook made me laugh out loud and then tingle with romance the next. The end of this book was heart wrenching and the end end was awesome. Oh and Lorelei King is an awesome narrator. She brings the characters to life in such an amazing way that I can't imagine reading the physical book could bring me half the pleasure that listening to her read me the books does. If you haven't jumped on the Charley Davidson bandwagon yet, I highly recommend you do. You won't regret it.

I absolutely love this series and can't wait for the next one. Charlie is a fun heroine that I enjoy reading.

All in One Detective, Romance & Comedy

This is definitely a detective novel with a supernatural twist for women—unless you guys like reading about hot and steamy bedroom scenes. I have read all of Darynda Jones's novels in this series so far and I absolutely love her quirky character, The Grim Reaper, aka Charlie Davidson, private detective extraordinaire. Charlie isn't your run of the mill P.I. She sees and speaks to dead people for whom she solves crimes. Add her boyfriend Rayas Farrow (incredibly handsome & powerful son of Satan) and Darynda Jones's supernatural twists get even more exciting. Mix in all the above and you have some enjoyable reading that makes you want more and more of her adventures. I recommend it highly to anyone who doesn't easily confuse reality with fantasy.

This author is fantastic! The narrator is just as good. I look forward to my commute to work each day so I can listen to my audio book. I am addicted to the series!
