Publisher's summary

The secret terrorist organization that came within a heartbeat of installing its agent as President of the United States in Executive Actions is back with a new (and more deadly) plot to destabilize the U.S. government. The mugging and murder of a female White House staffer leads Secret Service agent Scott Roarke to the elusive and mysterious assassin who manages to always stay one step ahead of him. But as the plot unfolds, new clues about the assassin's past come to light, and they just may give him the tools he needs to catch his quarry.

Things happen in threes

Great series and it never missed a beat, the characters get bigger and bolder with every book. The author never stops leaking new information about all the characters and he invites you to look into the characters thoughts and figure out what to do next

Captivating! Exciting!

What a great book! Exciting, educational, and really makes you think about both historical and contemporary aspects of our society. Will definitely read more from this author. One of the best series I’ve ever encountered!

10/10

the storyline is impossible but it's so exquisitely well done that you can't stop listening and it becomes believable.

one thing I appreciate is it the author never stays on one storyline for too long or Too Short of an amount of time

Good but Long

I enjoyed the intricate plot. Nothing like the plot of this story could ever happen wo all the characters, places, and planned deceptions arising generations ago. I like the story and saw many comparisons to today’s world. The narrator was great. Great timing, excellent use of voices and none of those annoying characteristics other readers have. I didn’t give it a 5 because I don’t feel drawn to immediately buy another. Maybe this summer when I’m running more.

Good story w/an obnoxious character who talks alot

To get thru the irritating parts, skip fwd. Set speed at 110 for narrator quality

Wow, another good one!

I loved Gary Grossman's first in this series, but this second one is even better. The story was good, the characters are wonderful, lots of cliff hangers and who dunnits.........and I love the narration that John McLain is providing. An easy "to listen to", page burner..........just starting the third in the series and I'm already hooked. Great series, hoping it won't end at third book. Thank you Gary and John! Aloha
