Publisher's summary

Private investigator Lizzy Gardner believed in law and order once. But after losing a loved one to a killer and watching too many vicious predators game the system and walk free, she's traded flawed justice for perfect vengeance.

Together with her tough and trusted assistants, Lizzy is tracking down a list of Sacramento's worst offenders and dealing out the payback they deserve. But she may be lethally outmatched by a new criminal, a murderer the papers have dubbed the Sacramento Strangler. This ritualistic serial killer is dropping corpses and cryptic clues at a shocking rate - and he's growing bolder and bloodier the longer he's at large.

In the suspenseful finale to the Lizzy Gardner series, bestselling author T.R. Ragan's gutsy heroine lashes out against the relentless onslaught of evil as she desperately fights to hang on to her own humanity.

ANOTHER GREAT BOOK

The morning commute is a nightmare and instead of 25 minutes it takes 2 hours to drive to work. Thank you TR Ragan for great listening, preventing me from passing out behind the wheel.

Graphic Thriller

The final Lizzy Gardner series. If readers get this far they will most likely be wishing for more. I know i am. This series was exciting, graphic and thrilling. The characters all have their own personalities yet fit together as a strong bond is developed.

Wonderful read and listen..

I chose this book because I thought it sounded like a vigilante type book and I do like when someone goes around killing or maiming rapists or serial killers. However, I thought Lizzy got a little carried away with Bennett. I mean, kill him or cut his “wanker” off but she was on the verge of beating him to death. Then Hayley wanted to go ahead and kill him and Kitally was kind of in shock as she watched Lizzy beat him. Really, though, Bennett did deserve to die; he was a rich rapist who just continued to pay people in law enforcement and the government off while he went about raping innocent young girls. In the end he got exactly what he deserved.

And Zackery? The first time he killed (his little sister) he was 10 years old. He was a sicko, that’s for sure. And he’d been killing all his life, over 20 years, simply because he liked it.

I loved this book. I started it late last night and finished it today. No skipping chapters, no skimming pages. I ate up every word. Those are the kind of books I’m always looking for.

No sex but the F-bomb was used 31 times.

As to the narration: The awesome Kate Rudd narrated again. I absolutely love her reading. Her voices are tremendous and her emotions are exactly right.

great ending

loved everything about this book. it tied up all the loose ends, but left a little room for another if the writer decides. I was not crazy about the last book in the series, but don't let that stop you from listening/reading this one. you will be sad you missed it!!

Pleasantly surprised!

First Ragan book-enjoyed the character development, pacing, and the narrator. I will probably go back to the first in the series. Good job

loved it as I've loved the five previous!!

I simply can't stop listening to these books on Audible. Even if I start a new book from a different author {which is often!}, I have been keeping a Lizzie Gardner story also going to get my 'Lizzie Fix' when I feel the need; additionally... the narrator is perfect in her telling of the stories!!

character closure

A lot of information to take in and the closure of characters were bland. Not as suspenseful as the previous books in the series.
