Publisher's Summary

For most women, a twenty-ninth birthday might involve a day at the spa or dinner with friends. But Stacy Justice - budding reporter and reluctant witch - isn’t like most women. Stacy's grandmother, Birdie, insists an Irish secret society known as the council will soon grant Stacy the role of Seeker of Justice. But terrible news interrupts the birthday ritual: the magic cauldron that supplies the world’s food has vanished. The council decrees that if Stacy finds the cauldron, she’ll be appointed Seeker and her imprisoned mother will be freed. But a challenger for the role steps forward: Ethan, the grandson of spiteful council member Tallulah. If he finds the cauldron first, Stacy will never see her mother again. And if they both fail, the planet will perish.

The fourth heart-pounding book in the Stacy Justice series, Emerald Isle sends the fiery-haired heroine on a whirlwind adventure across continents and generations, racing against time to save not just her mother but the whole world.

Cozy paranormal

In this book Stacy gets to go to Ireland to find the cauldron of plenty. The last time it had gone missing it caused the great famine. These books are nice little paranormal mysteries with plenty of magic, action and humor. I love Stacy's little quips and all the funny situations she finds herself in. Looking forward to the next one. At the end you even get a few recipes.

More fun!

This is what I would classify as a 'cozy' paranormal. I have really grown to love the characters and all of their quirks. Stacy is a great MC, I love her humor and take on things. And I think Amy Rubinate was the PERFECT voice for Stacy.

Start at the beginning with Opal Fire. These are light, fun and entertaining reads. I will absolutely read more.

Emerald Isle Glistens with Entertainment

Would you consider the audio edition of Emerald Isle to be better than the print version?

I haven't read the print version.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Emerald Isle?

Stacy gets to travel in this story.

What about Amy Rubinate’s performance did you like?

Amy did a great job of delivering the text.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book was laced with humor. A lighthearted mystery if those exist in this realm.

Any additional comments?

Enjoyed every line.

Stacy Justice Keeps getting better

Where does Emerald Isle rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I have enjoyed all these books. I really look forward to the next one. I think the fact we are learning more about the history of the family is also been nice. I can't wait to see what the new adventure will be.

So annoyed with the author, editor

I have read close to 1000 book. I have a library of 500. This is the first time I have ever been annoyed with the writer and the first time that I thought, "...wow, the editor needs to be fired". The plot is excellent with the character development. 3.5 Books mostly written in first person (Stacy). Halfway through this book she becomes "that girl "and based on the context the person calling her "the girl" is her grandmother. Or perhaps someone else but it's poorly written so who know. As dissatisfied as I have been with the writing… this latest flaw distracts the narrative

Bad ending & unbelievable occurrence

Very disappointed in the ending! After all that time, the choice to stay is unbelievable! Nothing would have prevented me from returning! The other could have followed or would have had to wait. The vague explaination regarding a major event is unbelievable. I would think the author could have given us a believable explanation and not left it as a guess.
