Storyline could be better

I have like most of Mr. Corban's books and love the characters, but this wasn't one of the best. I will continue following Myron though!

could not figure out who dunnit

Really enjoyed narration & story. Narrator's voice very good and changing voice for characters was believable (for the most part). Story premise was interesting, plus it kept me guessing. Myron & Win are a great team and writing is surprising witty for a murder mystery. Really like this series so far!

Loved the storyline

I purchased this book in the middle of the night just before I went to sleep and the next morning I’d thought I made a mistake. However, I started listening to it and found that it was a pretty good book minus the narrator. He had a nice enough voice but I had listened to Win first and that narrator was so much better that I expected something more.

Anyway I might listen to it again I just have to get Chris Weber (the narrator of the book Win) his voice was so rich and cultured, befitting of a rich arrogant rich man like Win, Myron Bolitar’s best friend if you haven’t listened to Win you should.

fun

The only reason the story doesn't get 4 stars is because I figured it out pretty early, I think he made this one a little more obvious compared to the first book, where I didn't know the answer until it was revealed. Still, there were other details I didn't get, it was a fun listen. zl

I really enjoyed this book

This book was enjoyable from start to finish. The ending was awesome, I couldn't have guessed it.

Usually I enjoy this author's writing and the story line. This one, hmmmmmm not so much.

Easy listening

Likeable characters, easy to follow plot, good presentation. Entertaining. The sarcasm in a bit immature.

Decent listen

Harlan has much better stories out there but this one’s a good read / listen. It’s clearly his early work which is still classic Coben, Win and Myron are always a lot of fun.

Phenomenal book and narrator

Phenomenal performance by Mr. Jonathan Marosz wonderful wonderful writing by Mr. Harlan Coben I've read and listened to Cobens books so many times and Marosz reading is like butter to a steak that is already very well seasoned. Recommended to all "who done it", mystery, anyone just looking for a good read fans. 10 thumbs 👍up
