great, but short

it was a really nice storyline, but the story itself was a lot shorter than I am used to from him.

Wrong Narrator

This is my 2nd - and last - short Alex Cross audiobook. The narrators for both are NOT the voice and character of Alex Cross. What's going on? I've read/listened to all Cross novels; seen all the movies, and I'm not going to be continuing unless the narrator IS Alex Cross personified. It's almost as bad as expecting Tom Cruise to be Reacher! When you spend hours (and $$$) invested in a character driven series, I feel the author has an obligation to make sure the narrator/actor personifies the character.

Good listen

I enjoyed, but being a James Patterson book fan it seemed to move very fast. I guess I prefer the traditional books over the "bookshots" format. It was perfect for my airline flight.

Great Book

Loved it just not long enough I hate when they end so fast. Still a great book though

A Necessary Read

Normally I do not waist my time or money on these types of reads, but after reading other reviews, I made the purchase. Other than the obvious, too short, this Detective Cross “short” was a great read and necessary before starting the next book in the Alex Cross series. Go ahead and make the purchase, you will be satisfied with the results.

could have been longer

I enjoyed the book and although complete, would have liked a longer story line. The narration was great and story very close to what could be a reality. I totally agree with the boys purpose.

When pigs fly

Great story related to plight of vets, their injuries, families and programs. Interesting character development and author is able to tie story up in a nice bow
