Great book

Any additional comments?

I have listened to several of Don Brown's books and enjoyed them all. I enjoy suspense novels and I have been looking for Christian or religious suspense because I don't have to listen to all the foul language and f*** this and that and b**** and all that stuff. I know this stuff is in the real world. I hear it all the time. I just don't want to listen to it when I am trying to relax and enjoy a book.

Terrioists&Covert Missions: can it get better?

This is the third book in the series. In each one, the stakes increase. The plots can stand alone. Situations torn for newspaper headlines always with an additional twist. Brown hasn't failed me yet. The fourth one is a chiller, too. Is the next one still in progress? I'm waiting patiently.

what the review doesn't say

This book as a few others I have mistakenly bought is a fundamentalist religious 'commercial' ie everybody eventually miraculously starts praying- saying things like what we were taught at Yale was wrong.
This book has been misclassified by audible.
It is offensive to discover that a book in the general 'fiction' category is thinly veiled preaching.
-like a wonderful film of smiling people really selling toothpaste.

Enjoyed the Story

From the beginning of the series, I have enjoyed the JAG saga while struggling with James Adams' narration. However, he has grown on me over the course of time ... until he botched singing God Bless America. That was nothing short of offensive to my eardrums.

Drama, suspense, politics, military - Book 3

The story continues and just keeps getting better! The author has really done an excellent job of research.

Treason, Hostage, Defiance- 5 Stars All the Way

Don Brown has done no dis-service this military fiction by keeping this series clean..it's masterfully written, packed with a suspense filled plot that will keep your mind engaged until the very end. Many dislike the British narrating..in Defiance, it's changed. This 3 bk read is worth 3 credits. Many times listening I catch myself going back a chapter or so & thinking, "ok..what just happened there?" Only a Great Author has that effect!
