I love Kay Scarpetta! I was on the edge of my seat for most of this book. I couldn’t figure how they switched the inmate. I kept thinking that maybe it was a brother or something, lol! Great read!

Lucy is back!
This book was a roller coaster of everything that happened. It was nice to have Lucy back for a visit again! I love how Kay is beyond impressed with Lucy’s tech skills. Another great addition to the series!

Riveting story, performance was good.
Overall I found the story fascinating. Initially, the narration seemed great, but as the story continued, I found that the loud breathing became distracting to me. The vocal quality, however, was great.

Love this series
I have finally found my next go to series for when I’m in a slump and need something I can count on to not disappoint. The stories are interesting and well paced. The characters are well rounded and likable if occasionally irascible (Marino). And the narrator is perfection. She does something almost no other woman can do which is voice a male character voice. Nothing not to love here. Highly recommended!

Again wonderfully complex and spectacularly convoluted. The dialog and scene visuals are expertly depicted by Ms Critt's superb vocal skill. Very well done on all levels, this installation kept me raptly listening for hours straight. Will definitely continue the series... 👍👍👍
