James Patterson's BookShots.
Fast-paced, high-impact entertainment.
Alex Cross, I'm coming for you - even from the grave if I have to.
Along Came a Spider killer Gary Soneji has been dead for over 10 years. Alex Cross watched him die. But today Cross saw him gun down his partner.
Is Soneji alive? A ghost? Or something even more sinister? Nothing will prepare you for the wicked truth.
As a longstanding Patterson fan this left me cold and angry. It felt like Patterson had a cash flow problem and so would throw out a quick book to raise a quick buck from his loyal fans. The storyline adds nothing to the Alex Cross story and is more of a prologue for his next Cross book rather than a book in its own right. The narrator is great considering the lack of content and storyline he is having to try and overcome. I will be in a significantly less rush to buy the next in the Cross series. Disillusioned.

What would have made Cross Kill better?
Aim it at a target other than american adolescent boys of below average intelligence
Would you ever listen to anything by James Patterson again?
Who might you have cast as narrator instead of Ruben Santiago-Hudson?
No narrator could improve this story
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Cross Kill?
This is by far and away the single worst piece of writing from James Patterson I have ever encountered. The story line is pointless and I feel that this is simple a money making excuse of a book. Considering that this book is the same price as others that go for 10 hours and are gripping with excellent story lines and this pathetic excuse goes for just over 2 hours with a horrendous story line is an absolute ripoff. I feel disappointed and very much let down. I have read every single Alex cross book and this does not come close to anything before it. Extremely disappointed.
