Publisher's Summary

Shalgrove is a sleepy little town in Yorkshire, England. It has around 1,550 inhabitants, and it’s the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else. Most people have lived there all their lives, and their families go back generations. Newcomers are not really welcomed, and it takes a long time for the locals to accept them.

The town plods on without ever entering the annals of history, apart from appearing as a dot on the map.

That is until the body of a young local girl is found, dumped unceremoniously in the bushes and discovered, one frosty morning, by a man walking his dog. The town is shaken to its roots by the outside world’s invasion of its tranquility, so that Shalgrove will never be the same again.

If you enjoy crime thrillers, then Crime: Murder in a Small Town is for you!

More Than A Murder Mystery

Well written and a good story line. A good murder mystery that contains no foul language or sex scenes. A nice listening that was. Hope there is more to come! Would definitely recommend it!

Just What I Needed

Just what I needed, a book that took me out of my constant to do list and kept me entertained. But, also I learned things, a very important part of listening to me. I learned about the many things that go into uncovering a crime. This book is a page turner, very well written and very believable.

Couldn't Put It Down

This story was incredible, and from 50% on I literally couldn't put the book down. And that was also the point at which I stopped trying to guess who I'd end up the angriest at, or where I'd place the most blame... Mostly because with each new piece of the story, everything shifted.

One of my favorites! I could listen to it over and over again. Love the narrator's voice and the sweet simple tune and harmony.

Good Character Details

Crime, Murder in a Small Town is an interesting murder mystery story. Attention to character details by the writer is great. Would recommend to a beginning mystery reader. This should be a beginning book to a murder mystery series from this writer.

A Good Crime Story

Here in this interesting story, in a small town, young girls are killed as they walk back home. The town investigators have no evidence about that. They pursue the case in a great way. Its all about the thrilling story, I liked!
