Publisher's Summary

How do you cope with magic that goes its own way?

As a second year FBI academy witch, Agatha Blackmore has a certain reputation. After nearly blowing up the school, an untended mid-air incident involving the FBI director, and declaring war with the US Marines, she has to wonder if she will even see graduation.

But when a rash of mysterious disappearances catches the attention of local authorities Agatha finds herself asked to lend a hand to the investigation. Determined to offer protection where it is needed the most, Agatha and her quirky roommate Cat, along with her mini-unicorn familiar Fergus, attempt to unravel the mysteries of the four distinctly magical disappearances before time runs out.

Does Agatha have what it takes to be an agent? Or will everyone that crosses her end up eating chicken feed for the rest of their lives?

Conjuring Quantico is the first book in a brand new urban Fantasy by T. S. Paul.

As a direct sequel to Born a Witch...Drafted by the FBI, T. S. Paul returns with the first book of the Federal Witch Series!

good story funny at times. the narrator's Mic is bad cuts in and out keeps going up and down in volume if you can get past that it's a good listen.

"Entertaining story, audio track needs editing"
Would you try another book from T S Paul and/or Francis Alais?

From a different reader yes. The story line was well thought out and interesting. An altered version of history where the public is aware of the supernatural, but does not trust the authorities due to the past.

Would you be willing to try another one of Francis Alais’s performances?

No, the performance was not easy to listen to. The sound frequently changed volume, the reader repeated lines that were not edited out and would randomly use a different voice for a moment, not for a different character just for a line in the middle of one character's thought or exposition.

The sound quality of this book is poor even with a high quality download. The readers voice echoing one line then not throughout the book. Not a bad story but

The story was good but the recording was terrible. Narration was not the best but you forget about that listening to how horrible the recording is.

    "poor narrator"

    PROS:
    characters are very good.
    plot line is very good.
This is a series that I would normally definitely follow.
I would have very much enjoyed this book, except I had a hard time finishing it.

    CONS:
No consistency of each character's voice. A characters voice would sometimes change in the middle of a sentence. The acoustics changed often ; at times it sounded like a normal room then maybe in a barrel. And, the volume was inconsistent. Volume was worse the last 15 to 20 minutes changes up and down repeatedly in just a few words.

I would very much like to continue this series, but I won't with this narrator.

"Audio quality is poor, story is great."

The audio quality varied, the Mike used has limited frequently response. I still like the characters and the story.

"Sorry Narrator. ...but dang U Suck."

She reads like a middle schooler having 2 read her report in front of the class.

But the story is so freaking interesting! I only blame the author if he didn't listen 2 a sample of her work b4 hiring her.

And dang it.....yes I'll get the nex one bcause, again the story itself is entertaining.

if u've ever heard Davina Porter who reads the Outlander series , u'll better understand why I feel jipped with this narrator. Also hear Heather Wilds, who reads the Lady Darby Mysteries. ..awesome 4 both those females !

On the male side is Dick Hill who is the voice of Jack Reacher, Ray Porter for the Joe Ledger series, damn he's GOOD!

    "Worst narrator ever!"

The story was good if YA targeted nut the narration was so bad I found myself distracted from the story. Her speech was at time sibilant, slurred and any word with more than three syllables was garbled. When the next book comes out I hope to see a change in the narrator or I may not buy it!

"Loved the book, audio is atrocious."
If you could sum up Conjuring Quantico in three words, what would they be?

The story and series are wonderful. The premise is great. The writing is funny and keeps you on your seat. It moves at a great pace and is a real page turner. The audio narration doesn't do it justice.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Conjuring Quantico?

Pretty much anytime the unicorn speaks

How could the performance have been better?

A better actress. Her voice is annoying and pitchy. She is just horrible sounding. Also the audio will repeat sentences. I read the books first before getting this audio book. I wish I had spent my credits on something else. I hope the other books have a different narrator.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The book itself is wonderful. I love the series

    Any additional comments?

Please find a different narrator. I listened only because I love the books. If I hadn't already loved this series, the narration alone would have made never want to hear it again.

    "Worst narration yet."

The store was average but hard to follow because the narrator did not very good job at distinguishing the different characters voices. And the voices she did use it very annoying!
