Stone Barrington returns in the thrilling new novel from the New York Times best-selling author.

After a productive trip to Bel-Air, Stone Barrington is back in Manhattan - and back in his element, ready to return to the world of deluxe fine dining and elegant high society that New York does best.

Frequent Listener

Just finished this listen on the way home from work Friday. Went back on line to down load a couple of the S.B. series I haven't listened to yet. Read the reviews by many, pretty surprised by the feedback. For those who listen to a lot of books, Tony does one of the best jobs of any of the narraters I listen to. Seperation of the characters is difficult, Tony does a great job with this. As far as the Barrington series go, I listen because they are fun, only slightly racy and entertaining. Maybe not great literature, but they can make you laugh, keep you in some suspense and bring you in to like the characters. What more should you ask for in a series meant to entertain, not think.

I Love Tony Roberts as a Narrator!

If you could sum up Collateral Damage in three words, what would they be?

I Love the Entire Stone Barrington Series

What does Tony Roberts bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love how he separates the characters voices. I can appreciate a Narrator who does this because I have been listening to a lot of audio books lately and he is the only one who does a great job at this. For those of you who disagree (because I've been surprised by how many people dislike Roberts) Please suggest good Narrators so that I can listen to those books for comparison. Without that, Tony Roberts is the best I have heard.

Any additional comments?

This series is good, its entertaining fiction that does what a good book should do. Take me away from reality.

Slow.

I always enjoy Stuart Woods books, until now. This book is slow. No feeling and it was hard to remember who was who. Did he run out of ideas? Should have stopped at book 24.

Terrible

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

No fan of the author who has read or listened to all Stone Barrington titles.

Would you ever listen to anything by Stuart Woods again?

Sure--more Stone Barrington

Any additional comments?

Stuart Woods has lost his way. What made his storys good was the N.Y. life with Stone and Dino. Chasing terrorists is for some other author.

Seems like Family

Somewhat formulaick but after so many Stone Barrington stories the characters seem like family to me. Tony does a fantastic job with the voices as well. I keep looking forward to the next book.

Finally... 👌👌

stone is now in the CIA and help saves all of America from being destroyed by nuclear attack from foreign revolutionaries. that's it in a nutshell however the heroes here are not Stone but Holly Dino and Viv. I enjoy these books in order since mr. Woods usually explains details of the previous novels unfolding. Roberts reading still leaves me on satisfied particularly when he switches accent in the middle of a sentence. looking forward to the next episode to follow our Intrepid Heroes.

Another Great with Woods and Roberts

One can't miss with this memorable combo of Stuart Woods and ultimate best narrator Tony Roberts. The story line and familiar character development are reliability poised with one of the best reunions of this series. Read this one years ago and totally enjoyed again with the Audible experience !

Another Winner

I enjoy stories that bring the past to light while seeing up the future of the series. This book does just that. For now....
