Publisher's summary

Christmas normally descends on Lake Eden, Minnesota, as gently as reindeer alighting on a rooftop - but this yuletide season the only thing coming down Hannah Swensen's chimney is a case of murder.

The holidays have arrived, and Hannah and her good pal, Lisa, have agreed to provide all the goodies for the town's annual production of A Christmas Carol. But before anyone can say "bah, humbug!" a Santa-size sackful of trouble ensues. Like the fact that Lisa's husband will be playing Mr. Claus to his ex-girlfriend Phyllis Bates' Mrs. Claus. Or that before the curtains even go up, Phyllis is found dead in the snow - wearing a costume that the real Mrs. Claus would put on the naughty list. Soon after, the suspects pile up faster than snowdrifts in a blizzard while a merry murderer remains on the loose. With clues even harder to find, it might take a visit from ghosts of Christmas past to wrap up this mystery in time for the holidays.

Excellent!

This is another great addition to this series. It is well written and preformed. You can't help but fall in love with her characters! The storyline is 100% Minnesota and Cookie Jar filled exploits! I loved the audio option!

Stellar performance!

This book was a great read. I hope a new longer book about Hannah and Ross will come out soon.

Another hit

I love Mohammed Swenson novel. It's one gets better this one just confused me for a little bit until I remembered that she was telling the story from the Christmas before she met Ross.

good as always.

Joanne Fluke is a wonderful
storyteller. Her characters
are always true to form
and entertaining. I have read all of her Hanna Swenson stories and am disappointed that the Hallmark channel chose to alter what Hanna is supposed to look like on their movie based on Joanne's books!

I wasnt impressed

I love amateur sluth novels, but this one wasnt for me. Its the first book ive ever listened to from this author. Maybe i didnt like the vocals on it?? I find that really makes a difference for me. I just couldnt get excited about any part of it. The story line wasnt that engaging to me, personally.

Does not move series forward

Any additional comments?

If you read these books because of the on-going storyline, you can skip this one. It occurs before Hannah married. Sorry I wasted a credit.
