When the body of Frederick, third Earl of Maidenhead, is discovered drifting downstream in his individually-styled, monogrammed bathing trunks, special investigator Simon Bognor acknowledges that this will be no ordinary murder investigation. For the suspects include some of the bluest blood in the land. Is Bognor out of his depth?
Any additional comments?
good follow up book to unbecoming habits.
just as simon is getting bored with his job his superior sends him to a stately home to make sure its safe for a dignitary from abroad to visit. before he gets there a man is found drowned and the question arises was he murdered and are there anymore murders to follow.
sprinkled with humour and a car chase at the end an enjoyable story.
I liked john lee's performance of the book.
