Publisher's summary

Imagine a vicious, cold-blooded, heartless villain who canes children and kicks puppies. Tim will totally kill that guy for you. If you pay him. And provide proof. But if you're just using him to knock out your own evil empire competition, look out. You'll be paying for your own funeral.

Tim is at it again. The target this time is his arch enemy...and it is personal. You think Vanessa's gonna take this assassination lying down? Will she win? Will she finally get her playtime with Avi? Will she defeat the KC? Or might a certain sexy, young ukulele player break out some super powers and save both her men?

Figured another book will be coming out

yep, not over yet! To many loose ends still hanging for this series to be over. Hope the author writes the next book soon. This story had a few to many inprobabable sence, but it was fun.

Nice end to series

This was a good ending to the series. Overall I found the series to be a basic mystery series. Nothing outstanding or any big twists. Some of the characters (Kissy) had strange names and the narrator made her voice sound like she was 12 years old. How many times do you have to come up on the same enemy before you catch them or stop them? I mean, really???

Will He Get The Girl?

This is the final book in what I think has been an entertaining series. I love the characters, especially Tim, the Killer with a Conscience, who in this book is about to open up his nightclub, well Red Logan, one of his many personalities is about to open a nightclub with the winnings from the high stakes poker game featured in the last book Pot.

But as I've come to expect things don't go according to plan. This time his clients are Kissie and Avi who want him to kill Vanessa who has caused so many deaths including Avi's brother and almost managed to kill Kissie in book 3. No spoilers from me what I will say is that this is the tensest of all the books and the outcome is by no means guaranteed.

Will Vanessa escape again? Will Kissie stay with Avi? Will all three of our heroes survive? Will Tim get the girl?

The narration of this book, in fact, the whole series, by the author Gwendolyn Druyor has been excellent, each character and personality is distinct.

"Vanessa."

Absinthe is the sixth and final book in the saucy, fun, fast paced and - yes, let's face it - silly Miller on Call series in which an attractive alcohol swigging, drug imbibing air head bar waitress and ukulele playing woman (with the stupid name of Kissy) becomes the romantic attention of two men, the gorgeous singer of a group called the Gin and Tonics, who also just happens to be a cop, and an old school acquaintance and brother of her best friend, Julia, who is an hit man, taking on murder commissions for largish payments provided he is convinced that person needs to die. Not that he's very good at it: usually, it seems, plans go awry and the wrong people end up dead or injured. All good fun really ( these really are very silly people).
This time, a determined effort is made to finally put a stop to arch enemy Vanessa. Should be easy but prevarication and iresolute behavior is again interfering with their effectiveness. The usual chaos and injury ensues.

These slightly sexy, very silly books are good fun and this one brings the series to an explosive conclusion. Short and easy on theear, with the author Had do!th Drug or herself reading g with panache, drawing in her readers with a great performance. If you enjoy comic books, you are sure to love these, as I have done. All of the other books in the series are stand alone but this one really improves with a background knowledge of the main protagonists - Kissy, Vanessa, Avi and Tim, and even of Killer and the Mayor - to fully appreciate what is happening, and why. So start at the beginning, and enjoy.
